Education Outreach
Radam has been a leader in jazz education for over three decades. His students have toured the world with top artists throughout musical genres, from jazz to hip-hop to rock and soul. He served as Musical Director at the Jazz Institute of New Jersey for close to 20 years producing several generations of high achieving college bound professionals. He has served as Artist-In-Residence at Middlesex County Arts High School, the Jazz Academy in Red Bank, NJ and Jazz Connections in Montclair NJ. He has been teaching at the Jazz House Kids program (run by Melissa Walker and Christian McBride) for over 10 years, and is the director of the Rutgers Newark Mosaic Jazz Ensemble.

Jazz Historical Theory
Radam has been interested in examining jazz from theoretical and historical perspectives, especially the under-represented history of the Organ Jazz scene. He coined the term “Blues Analysis” to define and examine the deep rooted theoretical connection between Jazz and The Blues.
